Calista Flockhart MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Calista Flockhart? Calista Flockhart is an INFP personality type in MBTI, 4w5 - sp/so - in Enneagram, in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.

She’s totally an INFP. Her Fi just screams out and it’s so natural. Her Ne is more noticeable when she speaks off-the-cuff. When she was younger and dealing with her new found fame, she’s much more awkward publicly than an INFJ would be as an INFJ’s Ni and Fe makes them more comfortable with social interaction and getting to the heart of matters. However, there are interviews where she’s comfortable where she’s less awkward, but her introverted feeling becomes even more apparent. She also has that INFP thing where she makes her point in a stream-of-consciousness type of way and then trails off as she tries to come up with an exit strategy and then just gives up and hopes “the door” she found was an actual exit. In every interview she does with a Fe-user, her introverted feeling is fed by their energy, especially if she’s being fed by an ENTP. When she talks about her relationship with Harrison Ford, she talks in a very romantic, idealized way about him. One time, she spoke about looking at him and watching him sleep and how she saw his boyish innocence. I think the character of “Ally McBeal” became what she became due to Flockhart’s influence as the writers began shaping her more and more as a display of Flockhart’s idiosyncrasies as they found it so winning and wanted to nurture it and celebrate it… as often happens to INFPs even though we don’t seek such treatment…openly. That being said, in the interview below, she talks about not being afraid of speaking up and at least telling people what the character does on the show is not what she would do: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fJFGGq68-g She seems to only do this when she feels the writers or whomever are writing Ally in a way that is contrary to the core of Flockhart’s persona. Having herself and identity be known seems integral to Flockhart and that is like the biggest sign of Fi I can think of.
