What personality type is Blossom? Blossom is an ESTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w2 - so/sp - 136 in Enneagram, SCOAN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
a repost from a reply on why she’s a ESTJ 1w2 lol Te has to do with efficiency and making the most logical decision by gathering all the facts and data. this doesn’t mean she doesn’t use feelings or emotion to make decisions ever, she can still use her fi when prompted. i think the misconception comes from people thinking that thinkers can’t possibly make decisions outside of logical standpoints. Fe is often seen as wanting to be helpful and save everyone, so many heroes/leaders or anyone whose considered “good” in general are VERY often mistyped for Fe doms, hence my comment on the herd voting. now i definitely will NOT go back and watch the show from start to finish to prove my point so i instead gathered information about her personality from wiki :) “She is quick-thinking, logical, analytical and has a strong sense of justice. She is the one who comes up with new team maneuvers and directs the Girls in battle. It's when she keeps everyone working as a team that her real abilities as a leader shine.” an excerpt on extroverted thinkers: “Dominant Extraverted Thinkers tend to be very organized. That’s also why many times Te doms come off as bossy or uptight (which is also a heavy trait in Blossom.) “Blossom enjoys her position and knows she's best suited for it; this can make her seem bossy and arrogant, but she is always willing to acknowledge a better idea and has the best interests of her sisters and Townsville at heart.” A Te user is also able to recognize when there is a more efficient way to achieve something. Unlike Ti, (and somewhat like Fe), they will have no problems dropping their previous formed explanations and logic for a seemingly better solution. Because their thinking is extroverted, their focus is on the outside world, so they will take everything outside of themselves into account when making a decision. As for her enneagram, Blossom is focused strongly on being objective and fair. This is a strong trait of Te but also enneagram 1 l, though i can definitely see 3 in her tritype but not valued over 1. 3s are more often concerned with success and admiration. it being a heart type, they desire to worthy and validated which they measure by how valuable they are (through achievement and acclamation.) it’s easy to see how a 1 and 3 look alike. like 3s, 1s are also concerned with efficiency. they are both apart of the competency harmonic triad, but have different ways of operating. 3s emphasize capability and being outstanding, wanting to impress others while 1s emphasize being sensible and correct, wanting be fair/just. 3s tend to ignore/be impatient with rules while 1s tend to abide by rules and systems, criticizing those who don’t. this explains why she’s constantly getting into altercations with buttercup about how to do things. (“she is quick to argue with Buttercup who acts on impulse as opposed to her analytical nature.”) “She can also be fussy, overbearing, vain and overly analytical at times.” many 1s struggle with frustration/anger as they fear being wrong or seen as unfair. they seek to make the most rational and accurate decision possible. it’s even stated before that blossom has “a strong sense of justice,” a trait heavily associated with E1!
