What personality type is Neo? Neo is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/sx - 549 in Enneagram, RCUEI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
I think there are good arguments for Neo being a Se user because of how he behaves and his initial inability to understand the spoon analogy but I think these can also be put down to him being a recluse hacker nerd before waking up and his refusal to accept the truth rather than a lack of abstract thought. I'd argue The Matrix is an INTPs worst nightmare, realising that everything you think you know is false, all past data has been worthless and not a reflection of the truth. A se user would also find this disturbing of course, but I'd imagine they'd find it easier to adapt to since they're still receiving reliable sensory data (since his actions in the matrix still have life or death consequences) However, being the one requires a completely different mindset to being say, a Jedi, a rejection of creation rather than acceptance of your place in it. Neo's power comes from his ability to mentally correlate the Matrix world with the computer code it actually is, arguably Si and Ne qualities as opposed to Se and Ni. He has to ignore what he's seeing and hearing since it's literally all false, and instead refer to his established knowledge as a hacker.

Neo (born as Thomas A. Anderson, also known as The One, an anagram for Neo) is a fictional character and the main protagonist in The Matrix franchise. He was portrayed as a cybercriminal and computer programmer by #KeanuReeves in The Matrix Trilogy, as well as having a cameo in The Animatrix short film Kid's Story. Andrew Bowen provided Neo's voice in The Matrix: Path of Neo. In 2008, Neo was selected by Empire as the 68th Greatest Movie Character of All Time. Neo is also an anagram of "one", a reference to his destiny of being The One who would bring peace. There are claims that a nightclub in Chicago inspired the name of the character in the Matrix.
