What personality type is Garnet? Garnet is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 952 in Enneagram, RCOAN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
Garnet is a logical individual and uses her future vision a lot, which is something you might associate with INTJ or INTP. However, remember what she said after the second time she fused? When Ruby and Sapphire escaped home world and fled to earth? When Rose asked her how she felt, she said "This is who I want to be." Ruby and Sapphire's focus is on being Garnet, on being together in every moment. That's why they only unfuse when they need to. She's smart, but not inventive or has a clear goal in mind. Using her future vision does give her Ni, but not as her dominant function. I can't really see any Si or Fi in her for that matter. She has shown inferior Fe to understand how Steven is feeling. I think her enneagram is more debatable than her MBTI.
Biography
Garnet is the de facto leader of the Crystal Gems, having taken over after the departure of Rose Quartz. She's a powerful, strong and disciplined warrior, and is the Gems' unarmed combat expert. A Gem of few words, Garnet is the most aloof member of the team; however, when she does speak, everyone listens. She is usually very introspective, but living with Steven, she is beginning to come out of her shell a little.
