What personality type is Mai? Mai is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 954 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
Am I the only one who is straight up confused with Enneagram 7 in her tritype? Most of the comments were only saying how being Enneagram 5 doesn't equal to being an edgy teen which I absolutely agree but just because someone is bored in everything also doesn't mean they're 7 unlike the comment says. I understand the main theme of her being XX7 because she's always stating how dull is everything but the point that makes it harder for me to understand that she's not in seek of making it better or finding a joy behind this boredom, it's not her coping mechanism. She's just a moody teen who hates everything. (What a queen...) "I love Zuko more than I fear you." This quote and the whole scene may resemble her as 6 more clear, at least it's way more suitable than 5 or 7.
Biography
Daughter of very high-class Fire Nation nobles in charge of colonizing Omashu for Fire Lord Ozai. Mai was constantly forced by her parents to be quiet in order to keep up appearances. As a result, Mai finds no enjoyment in anything other than her childhood crush Zuko. As an expert with throwing blades, Mai was recruited by her old friend Azula to help her in her schemes. Although she does have a soft spot for Zuko and Tom-Tom, she's so apathetic to everything that she doesn't care about being Azula's soldier.
