Bill Cipher MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Bill Cipher? Bill Cipher is an ENTP personality type in MBTI, 7w8 - sx/so - 783 in Enneagram, SCUEI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.

people are arguing he cant be a sx/so 7 because he fits that rigid naranjo sp7 description about “finding good deals” or whatever despite the fact that he acts literally IDENTICALLY to the way eric andre would (pulling people onto his talk show (soc) to feed his sx insanity and ask hard hitting personal questions) https://youtu.be/wh7e8IolGak and also just be a public menace that makes everyone uncomfortable and overturns the status quo for his amusement https://youtu.be/9UlXcoVHnog, https://youtu.be/vL8Dz4mGv1g. if gravity falls wasn’t a kids show this is EXACTLY the sht bill would do?? bill while possessing dipper canonically literally pours soda into his eyes and jams his arms into a utensil drawer and throws himself down the stairs for funsies. he believes he will survive no matter what. he doesn’t realize dipper’s body was exhausted from a lack of sleep until he began chasing mabel around. except nobody argues that eric andre isn’t sx/so; that’s a very firm consensus… so what’s with the discrepancy? in alex’s words: “i think Bill is angry at the world for the same reason that anyone sometimes can get mad at the world. Everyone has days where they don’t get their way, where you have to go to bed early or you have too much homework to do or you can’t eat the candy that you want or you miss your favorite TV show and, in those moments, you just want to tear the whole world down. Bill is a character who has been around for countless billions of eons, but he hasn’t grown up in that time. He’s a character who has accumulated many frustrations, many moments of destruction like that, and they’ve built up over time. Now he’s decided that he wants a world where there is no homework, where there is no bedtime—where you can eat any candy you want, and you can do anything you want. But because he is such a crazy guy, when he does anything he wants, it turns out to be terrifying. So I think little frustrations over thousands of years have built him into a sort of spoiled brat. And he takes it out on the world, and it’s up to our heroes to finally teach him some rules.” HOW DO PEOPLE THINK THIS GUY IS NOT SP BLIND ARE YOU KIDDING ME. sp/so has this steady energy, such as wendy or stan. NOT bill whatsoever. bill thinks stuff will just come to him, he doesn’t consider the self-regulation and work that must go in to get it because that stuff is boring. if bill didn’t have the sp safety net of literally being an omniscient dream demon (meaning he Literally doesn’t have to care about self-preservation because that’s not an instinct he really needs) he’d be dead in the human world if he didn’t have a family or anyone to help him. he is VERY MUCH like mabel in this regard. i’ve seen people type people the wrong instincts or wrong core type altogether because it doesnt align with chestnut’s or naranjo’s specific descriptors for how a subtype within a specific type must look. they seem to have perpetrated the super rigid instinct type archetypes. like YES the instincts might look different when theyre colored by the enneagram’s core fears and desires and ego fixation but that’s just it...the instinctual priority is still there but is manifests in different ways. but theres no one right way to be an instinct stacking in a type. people dont look at where the person or character’s energy is directed (which is what SHOULD be done to determine their IV, where are their instinctual priorities and how does that focus of their energy flow) they just look at the descriptions to see if it aligns with that like wtf lol. no those are just examples of what naranjo and chestnut Think they would be like in theory but that doesnt mean thats how its gonna always be in reality. the instincts are observable in their own right at the bare minimum but a core type adds a flavor to how it manifests based on the core type’s fears and desires and ego fixation, but it’s not going to be monolithic.

Biography

A dangerous interdimensional dream demon that was summoned by Gideon in his efforts to take over the Mystery Shack. Bill Cipher is the true main antagonist of the series who works behind the scenes in the first season, becomes prominent in the second season, and (potentially) exists at a meta-level than the rest of the show's cast. He is a jovial and sadistic trickster who makes devilish deals to get what he wants, and claims that something big will soon change the world...
