For example, During the time period that Waddle was absent, he cared more about her feelings than his own and gave up on Wendy for a while.) In the episode where Gideon catches up with Mabel and Dipper, Mabel said "let me go" while Dipper said "let her go". He cared more for his sister's safety than for his own safety. But he doesn't care too much about the feelings of people he doesn't like. (Prefers a tight bond with only a few friends and family members, it's also pretty melancholic.)
