What personality type is Future Trunks? Future Trunks is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 9w1 - so/sp - 926 in Enneagram, RLOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
Ni acts in strange ways. Facts about Future Trunks (I only considered Dragon Ball Z): 1 - He knew about Imperfect Cell (of course he knew because the existence of the other time machine), but HE KNEW Imperfect Cell was hiding behind a building (if I remember correctly). How? That's Ni for you. 2 - He was not duty oriented, he saved Goku from other timeline. It was not his duty to do that, The reason is that he did not want another hellish timeline. Because his timeline remained the same. 3 - He says to Vegeta, when Vegeta wants to see the full potential of Cell: "I do not want another nightmarish future!" And attacks Vegeta. Si would have prevented that. Ni+Fe or Fe+Ni makes you disregard hierarchy... in this case his dad's decision. 4 - There is the saying that the tiniest of changes can change the future (Goku-is-alive-timeline). Therefore, you have Android No.19 and Android No.20. Also possibly, the androids No. 17 and No. 18, MAYBE had more time to be perfected and stronger. Android No.16 exists in Goku-is-alive-timeline. 5 - He gave his sword to King Cold because he knew it was no match for him, That is Ni for you. Of course King Cold would attack Trunks... and he pay for it 6 - He knew that Freezer would be no match for him. How? Ni. Also, Future Trunks was stronger than Goku (at that time in Namek, Goku had more hardships even in Saiyan 1 form with Freezer 100%) and with no sweat killed Freezer and his army. Also King Cold and the spaceship... Because he thinks in terms of future "I do not want any trace of this demons in the Earth. It is better to obliterate everything of the enemy" 7 - He did not want King Cold to transform (if he could do that, that is). It seems he was in his second form, if we compare to Freezer second transformation. 8 - He says (depends of the dub) this lines "I am not like Goku" meaning he does not will let anyone (Freezer and company) alive. 9 - He kills No.18 and No.19. Because they were (in hits original timeline) the most sadistic enemies of DBZ, 10- He steals plans of Dr. Gero because he thinks it may become useful to his mother. Destroy the entire laboratory and kills Cell. He did not want any trace of the Red Ribbon and androids or any sxxt like that.
Biography
Future Trunks (未来のトランクス Mirai no Torankusu) is the Saiyan and Earthling hybrid son of Vegeta and Bulma from an alternate future. Well-mannered, serious and very cautious, Trunks hails from an alternate timeline in which Future Androids 17 and 18 murdered the Dragon Team and proceeded to create apocalyptic hell on Earth. Due to living in such harsh times and trying to find any means necessary to destroy the androids, Trunks lacks the arrogance and pride of Saiyans like Goku and Vegeta and uses methods unbecoming of a traditional Saiyan warrior.
