PLEASE don't make the same mistakes I did typing her as ISFP and chalk up acting for oneself and a personalized worldview to Fi. Kyouko could sort of appear as an Fi user in the way she's very grounded in her own worldview, but this worldview still stems from the Ti perspective as It's based in Se's objective view of harsh reality accompanied with a very subjective, logical view of the world molded through Ti experience and rationalization. Kyouko has been through a lot, losing her family through her own good will and a desire to gain a richer life for all of them. But rather than seeking out a sort of Fi vengeance with a reliance on Se Te, taking out her anger on the world as she’s unable to escape the reality of what’s happened, She instead takes it with a grain of salt and utilizes Ti as a coping mechanism, attempting a more rational understanding of things: Hence the creation of her idea that you "can only look out for yourself". It's also evident that Kyouko is very much a linear thinker, being one - track in her thought processes with little consideration or care for the outcome of her actions due to a lack of Ni, ESPECIALLY during her introduction. She gets the idea in her head that since you can only look out for yourself, she needs to take out Sayaka before she gets strong enough to get an advantage over her - Not considering the fact that the reason she NEEDS to take out Sayaka in the first place is BECAUSE she's strong, and not seeing why injuring another magical girl may come back to bite her. She realizes with more development and some degree of closeness with Sayaka that she probably should've approached it differently, but regardless it's STILL a pretty extreme inf Ni moment. Basically, Kyouko is an ESTP who's Fe becomes more developed over the short span of her arc, and Fi trickster is called Fi trickster for a reason lmaooo. Remember that when typing a character, You have to take into account their thought processes as a whole and NOT just one moment in a whole arc.
Biography
Kyoko can be somewhat stubborn and she has a fiery/tomboyish personality. She can be self-centered when she wants to be, though this is just a facade she made to herself and to others. In reality, Kyoko is kind and sympathetic when she sees those who are close to her in trouble. After losing her entire family due to the wish she had made for her father, she promised to never sacrifice herself for others as she believes that it would only end in tragedy. It is thought that she was afraid of getting herself hurt again, as well as the people she cared for the most. Kyoko appeared to be very rude at first, and would often get into fights, almost killing Sayaka during a battle due to her own rage. However she proved she was actually someone with good intentions. Kyoko is initially threatening and vicious towards Sayaka, however this is later because Kyoko has made the same mistake Sayaka had made and is unable to watch her suffer any longer.
