Walter White MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Walter White? Walter White is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 583 in Enneagram, RLOEI in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.

i think he is, ironically, one of the best examples of a 5 integrating and developing 8 like characteristics. the difference between s1 walt (a seemingly very calm and harmless man) and s5 walt (a ruthless killer and drug dealer) shows how he went from a repressed and docile man who never stood up for himself to someone confident enough to establish his presence, not allowing others to step on him anymore. the best part is that the 8's anger was always there, as visible in the early snippets of his "heisenberg moments" (such as him confronting the bullies in s1) breaking bad is an extremely meaningful show to me, not only because of the beautiful artwork it is, but bc i relate to walt a lot, especially early on. i understand a lot of the anger he feels - he's pissed because he knows he is extremely intelligent, despite no one appreciating him for it, but at the same time he's in a state of inertia. it's almost paradoxical in nature, because despite knowing his worth, he is not willing to take a risk to prove himself right. it leads to a very mediocre life where he doesn't really achieve anything, doesn't use his knowledge for something greater. he's paralyzed by his fear, something that he doesn't like to admit and feels an immense anger towards. because yes, he is very angry at those who treat him like ****, but deep down he is also pissed at himself for not being brave enough to take a risk (or not being able to provide for his family). when he finds out he is dying, though, he realizes all that fear was for nothing. he was going to die without leaving anything behind, and for what? he tried so hard to be content with what he had, to keep appearances, but in the end nothing he did ever mattered bc cancer was coming for him. in this moment he overcomes his initial fears and decides to become a drug dealer, and throughout the show he is tested again and again on his fears. but once he gets a taste of what he was missing, he can't quit. his fears become obsolete as he finally finds a purpose to his life, something in which he could invest all of his knowledge and that, in return, gave him power, an autonomy he lacked during all of his life. i can relate to that anger that comes from feeling dormant, and i hope i can develop self confidence and craft a good ending for myself like him. *hopefully* i won't have to become a drug dealer, but i wish i was truly good at something and had the power to change the world with it. to have an empire, i suppose - and even though power may be temporary, the knowledge i would gather would last forever.
