Norway MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Norway? Norway is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/sx - 541 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.

A lot of people started coming for my prior comment having to deal with Norway being an INTP. I have gained new knowledge and I have a much stronger argument this time. Looking at the letter dichotomies, he's definitely an INTP, no doubt about it. Regarding cognitive functions, there is heavy evidence of TiNe throughout his appearances in the manga, webcomic, and the anime (sub). Ti - Aside from the fact that most ti doms suffer from RBF (resting bitch face), I can conclude that he is also definitely a ti dom due to the fact that he always seems to focus on the objectivity and logic of situations. For example, during the Dano-Swedish War episode, Norway mentions that Denmark shouldn't fight Sweden because they aren't prepared and Sweden is clearly prepared and ready for a fight: "Leave it to you? But we're totally defenseless, and he's ready t'beat the crap outta ya...it's hopeless." Additionally, earlier in the strip/episode, he mentions that Denmark shouldn't be surprised if he gets a cold from standing out in the cold weather--then later reminds Denmark that "...we're in the middle of a war. Is it okay for you to be taking this so lightly?" he's definitely very based in logic and these are very Ti things to do and say. And the way Denmark brushes these logical warnings off makes it seem like Norway always brings up logical points like that, which again is a very Ti thing to do. The way Norway kind of brushes it off when Denmark is getting beat up by Sweden is simply a result of the relationship dynamics between the pair, in which Norway persistently acts like he doesn't care about the Dane. Please remember, also, that Norway was in a union with Denmark at that point in history. He wasn't just worried for Denmark, he was worried for his own safety as well. Ne - Dom/aux Ne users are adept at finding patterns and trends, as well as having "gut feelings" about the future and having crazy ideas. To put it simply, they're very creative but are also sometimes seen as "in another world" or "pulling crazy ideas from nowhere". Norway is definitely a very creative individual, but since his auxiliary Ne is working in tandem with his dominant Ti, he may seem a little more grounded and slightly more mysterious than, say, an individual with FiNe (INFP) or dominant Ne (ENFP/ENTP). There's a fair amount of mystery surrounding Norway already due to his connection with magical creatures and magic in general, and the fact that he has a very strong intuition about what's going to happen due to certain actions- could be an argument for dominant Ni except his intuition doesn't seem to be due to an internal world, and it seems to focus more on the things he observes in the world around him instead. Si - His tertiary Si is also very clear, as Si is a rather nostalgic function and he's a rather nostalgic person (he constantly misses Iceland as a child and wants him to call him "big brother" again). Si users in general are very good at remembering details, and Norway definitely has this trait due to him referencing the past quite a bit (especially in episodes/strips detailing his and Iceland's relationship). Fe - Inferior Fe is also obvious for me, as Fe (especially for INTPs) focuses on other people's needs and making sure relationships are healthy. This allows them to read the room and judge when to go through with certain actions/say certain things. For example, he knew Denmark was having trouble and because he cared about him, decided not to trouble him with his own problems. He pushed his own needs aside for Denmark. Additionally, regarding Iceland, he CLEARLY cares a lot for Iceland and is trying to maintain their relationship as best he can. It's clear he can tell that Iceland doesn't really care much for his attempts to strengthen their bond, which (as most INTPs tend to do) causes him to try harder. You can also see unhealthy inferior Fe in situations such as the one in the Wordy Nordic Comic, in which he snaps at Denmark for poking fun at Iceland and making him incredibly uncomfortable. His feeling function, all in all, doesn't seem very focused in morals (and Fi users have strong moral compasses, unlike Norway seems to have). He's also hundreds of years old, so his inferior Fe would be a lot more developed than most humans, in theory. Aside from functions, he definitely has a lot of traits of INTPs: resting bitch face (as stated before), quiet, reserved, standoffish, thoughtful, eccentric, not set in one way of thinking, logical, objective, et cetera. Several other thinking types are very set in their ways of thinking, and while looking at the relationship between him and Denmark, a lot of people may insist he's also set in his way of thinking. However, I think most of the way he treats Denmark is based in the way he sees Denmark. That's an important factor to bring up as well, because when someone has a complicated relationship with another person, they're bound to act differently than usual towards them.
