*sigh* INxJ votes are rising so here’s an updated jungian-style INTP argument from yours truly. let’s remember back when skypeia was first mentioned, nami (a Te dom) was quick to decline its existence and brushed it off as “no one’s been able to prove it, so it can’t exist” this response was bound to come out of nami because high Te users utilize logic from the object and they rely on what is already concrete. contrast to robin, who entertained the idea of [skypeias] existence; she’s not one to wave off information that hasn’t been “proven” thus she’s constantly examining concepts and theories using her own deep and nuanced logic (Ti), rather than what is concrete and practical (Te). robin is without a doubt, one of the most intelligent strawhats. she almost always knows what the right decision to make is, but she never shares this with others. she’s not one to jump into leadership and in only the most stressful situations she’ll finally blurt out a solution. she’s the last in the crew to lose her head when things get dire. she has no interest in controlling her environment, rather she just wants to understand it. Only with difficulty can he persuade himself to admit that what is clear to him may not be equally clear to everyone.” continuing off of the fact that robin likes to entertain ideas and possibilities, even the most absurd ones, she never shuts down anyone’s ideas and is always opting to fuel them with ways on how these absurdities can work. she literally champions all of luffy’s dumb ideas despite knowing how illogical it may be. she usually just laughs at luffy’s proposals, nevertheless, goes along with them because she’s always confident in her ability to get herself out of sticky situations. and tbh i would expect that robin’s infamous morbid theories are enough to proves she’s an Ne user lol.
