Jason Carver MBTI Personality Type

Personality

What personality type is Jason Carver? Jason Carver is an ENFJ personality type in MBTI, 2w3 - so/sx - 216 in Enneagram, SLOAN in Big 5, EIE in Socionics.

"How do you expect to stop the devil if you don't believe he's real?" Really effective Fe-Ni-Se that is being overly ridiculed IMO. His Ti is good too, as there's logical consistentcy to the information he has available. Unlike Mike, he doesn't have an Eleven and a Dustin to help figure out what the Upside Down is. Lucas also demonstrated he wasn't a trustworthy source of information, since all he did was lie to Jason until the very last minute. Things probably would have played out differently if Lucas were honest upfront, like he was with Max in Season 2. Just consider that he wasn't against Hellfire in the beginning, since he told Lucas that Erica was probably fine and that Eddie was just off. Then Hellfire members kept covering for the person who was linked to his girlfriend's death. When you read about the actual Satanic Panic in the 80's and what the general public believed Satanic Cults were doing, it's frighteningly similar to what Jason, his goons, and the rest of the townspeople in Hawkins believed. The only difference is that the people of Hawkins have seen genuinely weird stuff happen in their town while in real life back in the 80's, people believed this stuff based purely on their fear with barely any evidence. People legitimately believed that Satanic cults were kidnapping and performing magic spells/ blood sacrifices with children. Keep in mind that the 80's came after the 70's when a ton of legitamate cult-related killings happened like the Manson Family Murders and the Jonestown Massacre so it makes sense why Jason believed that Hellfire was a cult but not necessarily a cult that could do supernatural stuff until after he saw Patrick's body crumple itself in midair. Should he resort to violence against normal folks? No. But in his mind, he's hunting down a murderer and fighting people protecting the murderer and getting in the way of the truth, which has a negative impact on public safety. Just swap "Edward MUNSON" for "Charles MANSON." This isn't that different from what a character like Matt Murdock does--or heck, even Hopper. It's just about perspective. But it's still vigilantism gone wrong. Likely enneagram 2, given how he couldn't accept that Chrissy wouldn't come to him for help. That combined with Ni and Ti inferior kept him from considering the idea that Chrissy and other people would be too afraid to reveal their flaws to him, since he seemed perfect in their eyes. They were afraid of losing his approval or respect. Even Lucas had this fear. Also, Jason only started calling Eddie a "freak" after Eddie came after him and publicly bullied him in the cafeteria. Eddie pesecutes people for beig mainstream, so it's the pot calling the kettle black. Then all of a sudden, Chrissy's dead body is found in Eddie's trailer. . . While misguided, Jason's understandably angry after being deliberately instigated. Anyways, pretty weird set up for an antagonist if you think about it. Most other ENFJ antagonists are malicious because they're jaded from society, like Lotso Bear or Harvey Dent. He's a protagonist who didn't get the memo 💀
