What personality type is Encyclopedia? Encyclopedia is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 513 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
If we were talking about an actual encyclopedia, that would indeed be a very IXTJ thing - a catalogue of facts that one could look up for relevant information (Te-based). But this is Encyclopedia, and more specifically - this is the Encyclopedia internal monologue of one Harrier Du Bois. It is essentially one of the voices in Harry's brain that spews a collection of broadly based information that fascinated Harry at some point in his life for reasons he can't remember. The only thing keeping it from being the stereotypical INTP 5w4 "Useless Knowledge" or the stereotypical Ne-dom randomness is the fact that it's pulling out information that's at least somewhat applicable to the current events. And even that is xNTP in form, as the connections can be loose - at the extreme, it turns contact microphone into a boxer named Contact Mike (which then spirals into a whole Thought). Also somewhat telling? It gets a bit competitive with the definitely xNTP Trant Heidelstam's spewing of pointless trivia, to the point of being an actual distraction.
