What personality type is Kathani “Kate” Sharma? Kathani “Kate” Sharma is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 1w2 - sx/sp - 136 in Enneagram, RCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
While Kate…rides horses and speaks out of turn…that does not change the fact that throughout the show Kate’s Ni projection and ideal for her sister’s ideal husband is being served by her aux Te of evaluating acceptable suitors, and it’s not the other way around. I think this, along with training her sister to become what she anticipated Edwina would need to become to attract an acceptable suitor. I think her Ni plans to secure her family’s future served her Te deception of her sister and her plans. I don’t think her Fi is inferior, or else she might have valued a love match for her sister less, and her ultimate “happiness”. She is an idealist first, and her Te serves that idealism, which ultimately makes me consider her an INTJ. And, to add on to this, Kate’s Ni mission eclipsed her own self, hence tert Fi projected onto Edwina (there was some truth to her accusation of making Edwina live the life she wanted, save for the fact I would consider it entirely unconscious). Edit: This new interest in ISTP is intriguing, but I saw no sense of her first of all being a perceiver type if we can just START THERE. Ni+Te can easily be made out to be Ti, but it doesn’t make something Ti. Just because she analyzed a THING doesn’t make her Ti, in fact, her thought process was Ni and Te in contrast to Anthony’s Te being served by his Si. I am begging you guys please think further than the fact that this woman moves, talks, thinks and participates in things. INTJ’s are living breathing beings and they can easily participate in a fun competitive sporty game. She and Anthony have clear TJ similarities, their stubbornness and micromanaging of their goals to name a couple, it’s literally the point of how they compliment one another that they both took the reins for their family in their own versions of leadership. If you want examples of Kate’s Ni, try looking at how Edwina was shown to be trained and prepared by Kate, but only to the limits of what her Ni projections of what a perfect lady would be like, and how that clashed with Lady Danbury. And how on earth would a HIGH SE USER be as resistant to anything different to their vision as Kate is? Where does Kate show a need for things to make sense in any kind of Ti logcial framework? How does Kate go about her goals in a way that makes you think her Fe is inferior and that she is using logic above all when she is doggedly fighting off any suitor that doesn’t fit her particular standards and that doesn’t offer a love match? That is literally another contrast between Anthony and Kate that causes tension, that Anthony has such little regard for emotions and feelings and doesn’t care to marry for love while Kate wants love and a beneficial marriage for her sister. She doesn’t show any sign of Fe, inferior or otherwise! And bottom line, she simply is not a dominant thinker, her entire character tension is having her vision for her sister disrupted by Anthony (Ni), and her feelings for Anthony later on along with guilt of being in the way of her sister’s happiness (Fi!!! Please guys seriously). She does not dismiss the possibility of having emotions like a dominant thinker in her character position would, instead she takes a more abstaining, sacrificial approach if anything. She seems in touch with her feelings, but not enough to prioritize them, almost like someone with Tert Fi would! This is not to say that an ISTP or ENTJ wouldn’t feel emotions, but this is not her greatest axis tension, it’s her Ni plans being shaken up and “ruined” by Se! And, to make my point further, she doesn’t really even consider her sister’s ACTIVE WANTS AND FEELINGS in her plan besides that she gets a love match and is made happy. She thinks the she knows better and best the way an Ni dominant would! I apologize to sound so aggressive, but Kate not living in a shadowy room and levitating or whatever on earth you guys think a “real” INTJ does doesn’t mean she isn’t one.
