Personality

What personality type is Virginia “Ginny” Miller? Virginia “Ginny” Miller is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 416 in Enneagram, RLOEN in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.

Why Ginny Miller is an ISFP: Spoilers! I only watched this show for Georgia, but meanwhile I really analyzed Ginny’s character to decide if she’s an ISTJ or an ISFP. First of all, she never throughly analyzed the Kenny situation, like ever. I feel like an ISTJ would rationalize the situation before freaking out and running away. Maybe she would try to remember the past events that could lead up to the murder in detail like what Kenny did to her, how assertive, protective and on guard Georgia is, and maybe have an inferior Ne moment where she would connect the pieces and have an “Aha!” moment. But she never tried to even think about why Georgia did that, she was too caught up in her own ethic rules and feelings (Fi), thinking about how horrible her mom is for killing someone because it’s morally wrong, even though the guy is a disgusting person. She also acted like this when Georgia’s sister showed up and when she found out that her grandparents are alive. Everyone told her that they are not good people and that’s why Georgia kept Ginny and Austin away from them, but she was still going on about how it’s wrong to keep grandkids away from their grandparents. She didn’t consider any perfectly logical reasonings like a high Te user and she was still way too close minded and stuck in her own beliefs. She also did the same thing when she sent Austin’s letters to Gil and gave their location info, never thinking why Georgia never sent them. Because ‘Austin needs to communicate with his dad’. She still thinks she’s a moral savior. But she never questions why Gil, who is literally in the prison, might be a bad influence to Austin and that’s why Georgia is keeping him away. Any high Si and Te user would at least think about this before doing something this important. Like this girl literally had zero Ne and Te and too much unhealthy Fi, she never questioned why her mom did what she did or how much she loves her and instead, she only saw her as corrupted, bad and straight up bullied her, thinking that she ‘gave her a lesson’. She literally called her a monster in front of everyone and expressed her fear to be like her, against her beliefs and morals. Ne blind makes more sense for her, because she can never think about the different possibilities to save her life. The only time she understood different possibilities was when they were directly explained to her. Georgia had to explain every single one of her reasonings to calm her down, and even then she struggled to acknowledge them. She also uses Se>Si. She expresses her Fi through art, she likes to have fun, have experiences with her friends and explore her sexuality. Also she usually makes impulsive decisions without caring about being in control or being safe, unlike a Si dom. Like her whole dynamic with Marcus in the first season was a mess, also running away with Austin was too dramatic, even for an angry teenager. In the second half of the second season she definitely got better and she was able to use her functions more healthily. She understood her mom more and the way Marcus and her supported each other was sweet. When she was in a better mental state, we saw the healthy ISFP side of her. She was able to help people who are close to her, she still defended her values no matter what and she enjoyed her life through creating good experiences (like the bachelorette party and the wedding). I kinda agreed with the ISTJ votes before, but after rewatching the first season and watching the second season, I definitely think that she’s an ISFP.
