a few days ago i made an argument for INFP, but researching more about FiSe i came to the conclusion that she is actually ISFP. and i will explain Se since no one explained. kat was introduced as the typical fat friend, virgin, without confidence and bullied. always living in her own world and never had enough courage to do anything, because she was too insecure for that, and found a way to express herself, writing fanfics. at the beginning of the show she tries to give maddy some advice, after maddy breaks up with nate telling her to have sex with someone new and move on, this may have just seemed like a virgin girl trying to impress her friends but this could be true. when she got her arc in season one, she became a completely different person: cold, sexual, provocative and intense. at this point it is shown how she uses her Se. i believe kat always had this “fire” inside her and the desire to be this girl, who enjoys the moment and have sex with many guys at the same time, but that side of her was hidden because, again, she was very insecure. Se of an ISFP works like this, they seek pleasures, sensations, and experiences to satisfy their personal pleasures. she started having sex with as many guys as possible, even for fun. an example is in season one when she had sex with that popular guy, she didn’t care about status or image for having sex with him, she just wanted to have that experience. “did you ***?” “no” * walking with satisfaction *. she’s become very dependent on it, and this is happening in season two, she’s questioning if she really likes ethan, and the answer is simple; they don’t have an intense relationship like she used to. Si users seek comfort in a relationship, they don’t care if everything is wild, if they both have a connection is enough, it doesn’t sounds anything like kat. FiSe looks for impulsivity, adventure and intensity to be happy, they want to be connected to the outside world, they don’t want to feel trapped. “If you asked a FiSe what his life is like, he would probably tell you about his current circumstances rather than the big picture.” this happened exactly in season two, when she was at a dinner with ethan’s parents and they ask a little about her, and she starts having an identity crisis, not knowing who she is. in her current state she is unable to say who she really is, a perfect example for SeFi. kat is struggling to discover herself and her value. after she abandoned her double life she feels empty, when she had a projection of many women telling her to love herself, this moment screams FiNi. with all her identity crisis, she feels that her life is out of control and that nothing will be able to solve her problems, and that will be her reality (FiSe). i think her Ni is her weakest function, i still think she uses Ne more but she definitely has aux Se, if you have arguments for Ni please tell me.
