Lee Si Young is a popular South Korean actress and amateur boxer. Born as Lee Eun Rae on April 17, 1982, she made her acting debut in the 2008 television series “Urban Legends Déjà Vu” and the drama “The Kingdom of the Winds.” But 2009 brought her fame with her roles in the very popular dramas “Boys Over Flowers” and “Loving You a Thousand Times.” She gained mainstream popularity with her roles in “Birth of a Rich Man” (2010), “Playful Kiss” (2012), “Wild Romance” (2012), “Valid Love” (2014), “My Beautiful Bride” (2015) and “Risky Romance” (2018). Although Lee Si Young never debuted as a singer, she has contributed to several of her films’ soundtracks. In addition to her entertainment career, Lee Si Young took up amateur boxing in her late 20s to prepare for a drama role. But she enjoyed the sport so much that she continued training and has won a number of amateur titles. She won the 24th National Amateur Boxing Championships in 2013.
