core 2 is a ridiculous typing for this girl. she displays no pride or flattery, and she actively CONTRADICTS the idea of the trap of freedom the core 2 possesses. i’m not gonna spend my time making an in depth argument since this show and this character is absolute ass but she’s such an obvious archetypical sx 9.. here’s just some of the reasons why: the minute mary says she’s not gonna continue to gamble, and she tells tsuzura to stop relying on her to do everything, she starts to cry. “the mary i know wouldn’t give up because of that!” she continues.. “you’re strong and smart and you always give it your all. you never give up, and in the end, you win!” focus on the way she emphasizes mary’s ambition and stubbornness to win- tsuzura RELIES on that. now that mary is giving up, and appears to show no interest in the coupling game, tsuzura loses her will to play aswell. she vicariously lives through mary’s determination to ‘become champions no matter what’.. and now that mary doesn’t appear to feel that way, tsuzura struggles to find any passion to keep playing. she tries to encourage mary to keep going and to try her hardest, because without mary and her determination, tsuzura loses her enthusiasm to gamble and be apart of things. and, after mary accuses her of being the traitor and gives her the cold shoulder, tsuzura is aimless and (quite literally) loses the light in her eyes, resembling her loss of will and passion. she continues to have no clue what to do until mary says “we’re in this to be champions!” and it gives tsuzura a newfound passion to try to win. “honestly, i was confused. i always get in everyone’s way, so i accepted the idea that i’d be cast aside. but mary remembered. she remembered our promise. then she said she’d risk anything to win. and i believe that’s what winners do.” she continues on to explain her strategy.. “that was a huge gamble on my part!” tsuzura would’ve never gambled or taken a risk unless mary hadn’t given her the vague signal to. she relies on mary to make the influential decisions, referring to her as her ‘prince charming’ that she relies on for everything. she also admits to this: “even if i escaped pet status for just a moment, i wouldn’t know what to do.” through this, we can conclude that tsuzura has (or had) no real ambition of her OWN to make her mark in the academy or to even try and make herself ‘human’ again by ridding herself of her pet status, even though she is quite rich and would’ve been able to do it easily.. it’s only until mary shows determination, that tsuzura is determined aswell. she displays no real aspiration or enthusiasm outside of her relationship with mary. when mary has a goal, by proxy tsuzura does too. compare tsuzura at the beginning of the show (without mary), to her during the end. at the beginning she wasn’t even trying to secure her place in the academy, but when mary joins and expresses enthusiasm for climbing up the hierarchy, tsuzura livens up and finds a newfound desire to help mary achieve all her aspirations- hence, why i think she’s a core 9, specifically an sx 9. Fixation: Indolence This person seeks love outside himself and makes no effort to find his essence and peace. Trap: Seeker He is always seeking outside himself for the solution of his problems, running from guru to guru. Holy Idea: Holy Love The seeker is seeking for someone to truly love him, so that he can feel lovable. The experience of “Holy Love” reveals that his essence is pure love. Then he is both loving and lovable. Passion: Laziness For the ego-indolent, the ego will persuade him to be very lazy in searching for his essence, though he may be hyperactive in finding ways to avoid working toward his essence. Virtue: Action The virtue is action directed toward experiencing one’s essence, overcoming laziness. she fits all of this almost perfectly. she merges with mary to find her sense of being and passion, therefore neglecting working towards finding her OWN essence. and here’s just a small portion of the sx 9 description: “The sexual E9 experiences the need to be through the other, the need to be through union with another, through fusion with another person.
