FORMER CAPTAIN CRAGEN MBTI - Si-Te-Fi-Ne —> Si-Ne: Alright I’m guessing that former Captain Cragen felt “most at ease when sensory details [were] to [his] liking and [matched his] expectations and was most often reliant on “well-established, authoritative” and “previously learned steps, rules, procedures,” and “methods” — Captain Cragen’s role as the leader of the SVU detectives involved his having maintained attention to the minute, logistical details of the cases and delegate them to make sure all loose ends were covered to the letter of procedure; additionally, he was visibly frustrated when the detectives would go off of procedure, his potential inferior Ne rattled. —> Si-Te: To furthermore reinforce Captain Cragen’s attention to procedure and details, he “[strived] for healthy and well-rounded goals” and he “[learned] systematically from mistakes” — Captain Cragen generally went about this in calm, collected manner, contrary to the idiotic stereotypes about forefront Te being inconsiderate and blunt; he prioritized factually consistently information for the stake of stability and getting a job done that would efficiently, practically help appeal afflicted by sexual crimes. —> Te-Fi: Actually, I feel that former Captain Cragen demonstrated healthy, balanced Te-Fi judgement most of the time; if anything he might’ve struggled with having “known the right way, but [continued] with the wrong way anyway” or was “easily frustrated by challenges”, having taken “results too personally” — While former Captain Cragen generally did hold his standards to proper procedure and legal ethicality, it’s possible that his emotional attachment to his detectives became a little too entrenched and glossed over the consequences of their improper field practices… …I’m most certainly one to type that as a dominant Fi-User myself. :/ ENNEAGRAM - 6w5 so/sp —> Type 6: For the most part, I feel that the former Captain Cragen demonstrated the strengths of developed, healthy Enneagram type 6 by having control over of his inner demons, but nonetheless, I’m guessing that he was still “prone to questioning and challenging the motives and beliefs of those around [him]” — The most tangible example I can recollect that might make a decent case for former Captain Cragen’s inherent skepticism and doubtfulness might’ve been how he was resistant to accept former Counselor Cabot’s motives as becoming the designated ADA for SVU early on in season 2. —> Wing 5: I feel that Wing 5 was most likely the case for former Captain Cragen in the sense his having been “drawn to systems of thought” so as to have been provided “with a framework which [conferred] on [him] some semblance of control and prediction” — To reference another at least somewhat specific example, whenever the detectives of SVU and their associated ADA got into arguments about the civility of how the latter handled the case, former Captain Cragen, as the mediating middle ground, seemingly often stuck with the side of civil law, as it was said establishment of principles thus proved to be the safest call. —> so/sp: Alright, no, I’m sorry, but I do not care for Naranjo’s RaTiOnAl DuTiFuLnEsS of the SO 6, my voting it has more so to do with former Captain Cragen’s fixation on “‘What [could] go wrong with [his] social support system?’”.
