One of the best Ni-dom depictions I've seen. INFJ could be entertained but by virtue of the fact that his odd moral stances (which are totally consistent with his other views BTW, Thanks high Ni) come after almost a lifetime of doing otherwise and then having a sudden freakout about what he's already achieved and realizing he forgot to ask "why" not "How" makes me think INTJ later-life almost for sure. INFJ-wife highly relates, though, and also has fantasized about crashing and burning her position of leadership in a final blaze of glory one day, lol.
