first, please please PLEASE take this with a grain of salt, I'm by no means good at this sort of stuff, but no one's been giving any reasoning so I thought I'd throw my hat in the ring to at least start some actual conversation. at the end of the day, if my analysis is trash, it'll get a worthwhile conversation started I personally see Sam as a Ne Dom, rather than a Se Dom. if you take a look at his quotes, you'll find his dialogue can get to be unusual? iskd how to put it, just kind of all over the place and full of comparisons and random metaphors/similies. take straight from the wiki, a piece of spring dialogue that displays this is “The clouds look great this time of year, don't they? Like scoops of vanilla ice cream floating on blue raspberry sauce... Or maybe I'm just hungry.” He's also taking things he observes and makes mental connections, displaying Ne and Si by taking past experiences and analysing then to find patterns. there are two examples worth showing, the first being "When you see hot air balloons drifting over the sea, you'll know that summer's in full swing.” and the second being “My shoes always seem to wear out this time of year. Look, my toe's poking through! That's what happens when you skateboard too much.” Additionally, a piece of dialogue displaying BOTH of the things I mentioned is as follows: “Did you ever notice all the spider webs that appear during the fall? If you get up early you'll see them covered in dew... like little stars.” also, he's always coming up with ways to remind himself to do things. wearing rubber bands, writing notes on his wrist, all sorts of stuff at some point, he orders shoes to replace his old ones. when they take longer than expected, he complains but identifies a likely cause as to why it may be taking so long now, for the extra controversial stuff: I think he's an ENTP, not an ENFP. notice how a lot of what I've already listed can also fall under Ti? he's actively using Ne and Ti to observe patterns and form theories around them. for crying out loud, he believes in UFOs (and actually rightfully so, there canonically are aliens). it's like 2 am and I by no means want to stay up any later but I just hope this train wreck of an analysis is enough to start an actual conversation because what I've seen bothers me to no end
