背景
Every generation of Nila Brown's family joined the Royal Air Force; ever since her grandfather, a RAF fighter pilot, met her grandmother, an American WASP during World War II. Brown's natural desire to fly began the day her mother brought her into her cockpit. During Operation Shader, Brown took down three MiG-25 and crashed her aircraft into the last enemy to save another pilot. She ejected just before impact, leaving an explosion in her wake which earned her the nickname "Nova". Alone behind enemy lines, Nova used her SERE training to fasten a hatchet using pieces of her downed fighter and returned to her base. Upon return, she was recruited into the 42 Commando of the Royal Marines, where she led the L Company focused on rescuing downed airmen. By 2022, Nova became a contractor for the SpecGru private military company.
