Biography
Alicent Hightower is the queen consort of Westeros before the Dance of the Dragons. When she was young, she became the second wife of King Viserys I Targaryen. The marriage was proposed by her own father, Otto Hightower. After the dead of King Viserys, the Hightowers attempt to claim power from Viserys' rightful heir, Rhaenyra Targaryen, and it leads to the civil war called the Dance of the Dragons. Alicent plays a pivotal role during the war as the founder of the greens faction to oppose Rhaenyra. She is portrayed by Emily Carey and Olivia Cooke in the House of the Dragon.
