What personality type is Ogai Mori? Ogai Mori is an ENTJ personality type in MBTI, 3w4 - so/sp - 385 in Enneagram, SCOEI in Big 5, LIE in Socionics.
(Copying and pasting an argument I made before) Mori doesn't strike me as someone who seeks validation and approval. He is very secure about his status, and doesn't particularly strive to appear impressive in front of his subordinates like a 3w4 would (openly fanning over Elise and holding an executive meeting with ribbons in his hair in an omake). His main goal seems to be power, as he is obsessed with keeping himself on the throne to the point where he's doesn't stop Dazai from leaving due to his fear of being dethroned by him. To me, he shows more type 8 than 3. I don't really see the 4 either, 9 looks more clear to me. Mori actively attempts to create strong, somewhat familial bonds in the mafia and uses it to boost the mafia's strength. A classic example would be Soukoku, where Mori encourages them to be friends because he knows their partnership would benefit the mafia greatly. Another example of strong relationships among the mafia would be (SPOILER ALERT) Tachihara's attachment to the other members of the Black Lizard + Higuchi and Akutagawa, which ultimately leads to him betray the Hunting Dogs due to the fact that he realizes his true family is in the Port Mafia, or Mori's organization. To sum it up, a big part of Mori's strength as a leader includes keeping the peace in the mafia and forming strong bonds between the members, which I think indicates 8w9 over 3w4.
