What personality type is Hvitserk? Hvitserk is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 468 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
There's an Fi-Ni oscilation at the beggining of season 6. His character is all about a seek for a personal purpose based on a self-image he'd like to have, but it's unreal. For sure it's Fi-Ni/Ni-Fi. He's not an INTJ, but both ISFP and INTJ loops are very similar, they neglects both of Te and Se and both Ni and Fi oscilates for the commanding. His Ni comes after because he certainly doesn't command it, it's complicate to him to trust his own vision about what his own fate. Auxiliary Se is easy to see at all, he has a objective perception about the concrete reality, which got darker when he was unhealthy (season 6). We can also see his Se when he's in battle acting like a true berserker. But that's not the point. The Introverted Attitude (Feeling): — It is, as it were, continually seeking an image which has no existence in reality, but of which it has had a sort of previous vision. From objects that can never fit in with its aim it seems to glide unheedingly away. - Carl Gustav Jung (Psychological Types) Also Ni by Carl Jung: "Through this realization he feels bound to transform his vision into his own life. But, since he tends to rely exclusively upon his vision, his moral effort becomes one-sided; he makes himself and his life symbolic, adapted, it is true, to the inner and eternal meaning of events, but unadapted to the actual present-day reality". As I said, Hvitserk had a complicate usage of Ni, which justifies a tertiary function, but it was definitelly there, working beside and subjugated to his needing for a self-value, and for a unconscious desire for the external acceptance about that self-value. You can see it when Ubbe offers him responsabilty, recognizing his value, he reacts like if it was really important to him. He also has an insecure "fear" about the extraverted judging, and it justifies inferior Te.
