What personality type is Kanna Kamui? Kanna Kamui is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 954 in Enneagram, RCUEI in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
[copy paste of my thread response, but better as its own thread. ti vs fi] kanna is very blunt and processes things through her own internal realm of logic. for example, she collects information from tohru and kobayashi's tells, like clothes and pda, to come to a conclusion that kobayashi is forcefully keeping her on earth, and that kobayashi will wrongfully use kanna when asking her to stay with her, (Ne organizes the information into an organized prediction.) when offering her a home, kobayashi understands kanna's inability to process the emotions behind her concern for kanna and her relationship with kobayashi, so rather than communicating that emotional aspect, kobayashi says that "she won't ask kanna to be her friend,"- they'll be roommates and that's all. kanna is oblivious to the emotions of those around her, or rather she doesn't want to react to it (inferior Fe); kanna does not seem to detect saikawa's reactions to her presence, and she doesn't recognize (or react?) to kobayashi's behavioural/emotional shifts after tohru leaves. she continues her daily structure. however i do believe she does understand that kobayashi is going through an intense emotional reaction to a certain extent, but she doesn't act on or fully understand this sort of processing (another sign of inferior Fe). additionally, her high interest and desire to understand the structure behind earth's concepts is very Ti, ex. playing twister with saikawa (and any game kobayashi introduces to her), and studying insects she finds. because of this intense interest, kanna excels in things she analyzes, like the race at her school's sports day, and what i’ve mentioned above ^. although it's not really legitimate, kanna's entire face seems to to give off Ti; you can tell she is constantly carefully analyzing people and things she comes into contact with in her own personal way. kanna is curious and practical, and uses her mind to try and understand the structure of the world around her. tohru is an Fi user, and she is more interested in the norms and morals between people and relationships, like takiya and kobayashi. she tries to understand the world by interacting with its people through taking pictures with and serving crowds at (the anime's version of) comic-con, and getting familiar with market owners. tohru loves people and their relationships and understands the world this way. kanna values personal logic and knowledge (Ti) over personal feelings and morals (Fi).
