What personality type is Dot Pixis? Dot Pixis is an INTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sx/so - 964 in Enneagram, SCUAI in Big 5, ILE in Socionics.
There are a lot of INTP votes but not a lot of arguments for why he is one, so here is my own argument: Ti-Ne. The thing what makes Dot Pixis stand out compared to many other military leaders in this show is his ability to find well-conceived and unexplored solutions. When the military finds out that Eren can turn into a titan. The soldiers want to put him down out of fear for what he could do to them. Pixis however sees Eren as an opportunity to plug the wall in Trost even tough Eren wasn't able to control his titan yet and Pixis has never actually seen Eren turn into a titan before. But to Pixis, all of this isn't important because his intuition (Ne) caused him to find hidden potential in something that to others wasn't seen as "realistic". Erwin is a (Ni) user and he had suspicions that there are more titan shifters in the 104 trainees who had just joined the Survey Corps. Erwin then made a plan to trap one of these shifters in the titan forest, but made sure to not tell the majority of his soldiers about this. Just like Pixis, Erwin had an intuitive "idea" where he saw a possibility of something that wasn't in front of others because the idea was intuitive. The main difference between Pixis and Erwin however is the fact that Erwin had a "hunch" and then went very in depth with this assumption. He set up a well constructed and quite meticulous plan to prepare himself for this future assumption and basically put all his eggs in one basket not really thinking of other possibilities and made his assumption more specific then brought. (Ni) Pixis on the other hand has no need for that. He works much better when he keeps his ideas or possibilities open and we never see him go so in depth simply for having a "hunch". He saw Eren as an option to reclaim the wall and that's why he was able to come up with a plan so fast. Pixis sees ideas and options fast and he implements them fast. (Ne) Erwin's plans might be better thought out, but it takes him a lot more time to implement them to reality because of that. (Although I voted INTP I think ENTP could also be a good option.)
Biography
Dot Pixis was the Garrison's former Chief Official of the Southern Territories, which includes Trost District. He was often simply addressed as "commander". In matters of defense, he was given full authority.
