What personality type is Kankurō? Kankurō is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - so/sx - 683 in Enneagram, SCOEN in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
Kankuro suffers from a lack of screen time that makes him not that easy to type imo, but I found this in the Gaara Hiden novel: "Kankurou had a smooth, glib tongue that Gaara didn’t have. The one who was able to hang out with younger shinobi and listen to their troubles was Kankurou, not Gaara. [...] No matter how you looked at it, Kankurou was a very flighty person. Even though he had the same good looks as Gaara, Kankurou went to all the trouble of hiding it under makeup, and playing around. Kankurou was the kind of man who hated to be tied down to anything. When Gaara and Toujuurou had nominated Kankurou to be head of the Anti-Terror division, they’d had a very hard time getting him to accept." However, taking this information into account, I'd say he's more likely to be an extrovert (perhaps some kind of Fe user) and a perceiver. So I think ESTP fits him better than ISTJ.
