As 8w9 wars with 8w7, I'd like to further emphasize that a w9 wing does not by any circumstance mean pacifism. Frankly, e9 in general is not about pacifism, it is about mental sloth and a strong tendency to stick with what makes you comfortable or keep your "mental equilibrium" in a way that conserves personal energy. The core traits of 8 related to their core fear is their disagreeableness and the necessity for them to externalize their wrath in it's rawest form. A wing will not change this, however will change that focus and to some degree how that presents. 7 is the type of gluttony. 8w7, unless in it's highest health levels or grown as a person (which Endeavor clearly isn't), is a type known for it's inability to accept anything less than what it desires. It is gluttonous, finding fun in conflict/stirring the pot and using it's strong desire to not be controlled to push for everything it desires in life. As a double id type, it is focused on instant gratification and tends to be strongly impulsive about achieving that impulse, even with a double competency tritype. 8w9, while also struggling to accept much less than what it desires (because that's what lust is) is all about using control in order to maintain the self and that internal sense of "comfort." For Endeavor, that one thing he lusts after is that top hero spot. Outside of this, he really isn't an "experience seeking" character that wants and desires everything. 9, as an attachment type, is about accepting what you have to work with and adapting to that to get to a place that makes you comfortable. Unfortunately for the remainder of the Todoroki family, that sort of behavior presents itself in Enji using abusive behavior to create resources that he can manipulate/project into to take place as top hero (ie. trying to make a "custom fire ice child").
