What personality type is Ash? Ash is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 4w3 - sx/sp - 468 in Enneagram, RLUEI in Big 5, ESI in Socionics.
I dislike Ash's behavior, but at the same time, I get it. I haven't experienced much of what he has, but I can understand why he would act the way he does. Mr. Fox pays little to no attention to him, his own son, in favor of being "fantastic." Then, all of a sudden, this wunderkind of a cousin comes along and Mr. Fox casually gives the kid the respect that Ash has secretly wanted for years. That's gotta feel like an utter slap across the face! The poor little guy feels overshadowed by everyone. Ash definitely seems to have the origin of a 4. He feels like he has to create some sort of identity (particularly an athletic one like his father's) to earn love.
