What personality type is Lord Varys? Lord Varys is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - so/sp - 592 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, LII in Socionics.
So I recently started watching the series (I know I'm very late to the party) and I haven't finished it yet but I am leaning towards INFJ for Varys. There's a scene in season 5 (spoilers ahead ig) where he tells Tyrion that he wants the creation of a realm where the powerful don't prey on the weak. Tyrion tells him that the powerful have always been preying on the weak throughout history. To which Varys replies that this doesn't mean that's the way things have to be in the future. Varys sees and understands the vision of a better realm even though it's not backed up by anything other than theory and potential. I dunno to me that seems like dom Ni (I would argue the most Ni anyone has in the series).
Biography
Varys was a Master of Whisperers in the small council of Kings Aerys II Targaryen, Robert I Baratheon, Joffrey I Baratheon, and Tommen I Baratheon. Stemming from Essos, he was gelded at a young age by a priest of R’hllor, whereafter he was known as a eunuch. He schemed to secure the survival of Daenerys Targaryen, but after realising that Jon Snow was a better heir to the Iron Throne, he turned on Daenerys. This plot was revealed, whereafter he was condemned to death by dragonfire at the command of Daenerys Targaryen.
