Biography
A young girl who was raised by the wolf gods of the western mountains. When she was just a baby, the wolf goddess, Moro, confronted San's birth parents, who were violating the forest. The couple abandoned their child to appease the wolf and fled but Moro pitied San and chose to take her in as one of her own. Although the recent war with humans has blackened San's once pure heart with loathing, she eventually comes to care deeply for Ashitaka and through that love, envision a future brighter than she can imagine.
