Many people seem to dislike Yuu in a way and I'm always sad about it because I love him a lot. He's definitely not an original character, quite the contrary actually and he's also stupidly optimistic, but he has his own good reasons to be the way he is...he had such a terrible and heavily traumatic past and he felt alone for ages, so his childish obsession for the concept of "family" is really understandable and it makes a hell of a lot of sense also given his age. I agree that he's surely very immature for a 16 yo, mentally he's probably 11/12 in terms of maturity, but it's a natural reaction that he had to trauma...at least, I can totally see such a person to exist in a way if they have lived such a traumatic life too. So yeah for once his dumb actions and his overly childish personality have actual reasons behind them so I can't help it, I really got attached to him. Plus his moral strength is very charming imo, he is reckless and impulsive, but he surely is a very strong and resilient person...I don't get the hate.
