What personality type is Star Butterfly? Star Butterfly is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sx/so - 728 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
Now before anyone reads this please don’t come and bash me and tell me I’m being stereotypical because everything I’m about to explain are just based off of the internet and what I could find the best examples are always humans representing themselves like when they say star is a ESFP/ ENFP and they use themselves and perspective I find that more to make sense then the internet because the internet doesn’t always accurately represent the mbti types. I would like to hear everyone’s opinions thoughts comparisons and why you guys believe she’s a sensor or intuitive more. (Sorry if my English is bad by the way. It’s not my first language). So going through the comments I find a lot of comments where they argue that just because she’s very imaginative doesn’t mean she’s a intuition and I agree with that to a certain level. But at the same time on other characters the same people who comment on why they’re not ENFP they say it’s because they lack imagination. First I went through the internet and found “ESFPs want to analyze their feelings and the feelings of others in depth. ENFPs want to analyze the nature of life, the Universe and everything in depth” on this side I have to agree that it leans more with ENFP since star does like to get in depth with her surroundings and the humans as well. When she first came to earth she wanted to explore everything and everyone all at once and get in depth with everything. Throughout the show thought we see she starts to get more in depth with people and their feelings. It’s kind of hard since like every character she has had a character development. But for this ENFP because she has strong connections with nature and everything around her. “ESFPs get to know new people by swapping stories about each others pasts and coming to understand which experiences have led that person to where they are today. ENFPs get to know new people by sharing their perceptions and ideas with them, and coming to understand which psychological influences are guiding that person’s understanding of the world.” For this I also have to go with ENFP because when she talks and gets to know Marco they don’t really share much of experiences with each other but how they view life and their perspective on life as well as she talks about her ideas and psychological influences. “ ESFPs are highly in tune with the world around them, and may pause in the middle of a conversation to point out something that’s happening in their periphery. ENFPs often zone out of their physical environments and regularly fail to notice environmental details or events that are going on around them.” For this I personally think it’s ESFP she doesn’t get distracted by herself by spacing out but rather by items or distractions going around her or sometimes she just brings up a random topic that a certain item reminds her of. She doesn’t space out and stops paying attention what’s around her. She might sometimes but overall most of the time she gets distracted by things not just getting into her imagination. “ESFPs analyze things by contrasting facts and determining which one is the most useful, or makes the most sense in a given situation. ENFPs analyze things by questioning the nature of facts and searching for possible alternate explanations for why things happen the way they do.” While I do think she tends to question nature I’m going with ESFP on this one as well since I don’t see star being as reckless to put her faith in question on nature and she instead thinks of her options and plans then whichever suits best she goes with that one. I could be wrong though since I haven’t watched this show in forever i should probably watch it again. “ESFPs want to be recognized for their accomplishments, and are quick to draw attention to what they’re doing in life. ENFPs want to be recognized for their thoughts and ideas, and are quick to draw attention to what they’re thinking about in life” for this last one I’m going with ENFP thought I definitely see ESFP. I just see that throughout the show she is recognized by her accomplishments but yet she and her personally wants to be recognized for her beliefs and ideas and way of thinking. I’m running out of space to type but I definitely see why she’s ESFP along with ENFP I wanna hear peoples opinions definitely!

Star Butterfly, also known as Star the Underestimated, is the main and titular protagonist of Star vs. the Forces of Evil. She is a teenage princess of the Kingdom of Mewni (located in another dimension) sent to Earth by her parents in order to learn how to use the royal magic wand, with supervision from Glossaryck.
