What personality type is Lio Shirazumi? Lio Shirazumi is an ESTP personality type in MBTI, - sx/so - 873 in Enneagram, SLUEI in Big 5, SLE in Socionics.
I can see why someone would interpret him as using Fi instead of Ti, and thus being an ESFP rather than ESTP. However, I can't say I agree. The issue here is that, while Shirazumi doesn't appear to be very logically minded on the surface, this is mainly because of the fact that they are blatantly not perfectly mentally well; in terms of how they actually make decisions, Fi doesn't seem to come up at all. Comparatively, Ti is a very close fit, simply because they constantly act under the belief that they are doing what is logically and objectively correct; even if, as it's frequently shown, this isn't the case. What matters is that they think what they are doing is the logical course of action. Whether is actually is doesn't have much impact on the cognitive functions.
Biography
Introduced in the second movie as an older schoolmate of Mikiya who dropped out of school because he 'found something he wanted to do,' and takes on a much larger role in the seventh movie.
