Biography
Formerly of the FBI's Fugitive Task Force, and having served in the Army Airborne Rangers in Iraq, Alvez was brought in to replace Derek Morgan after the latter's departure in Season 12. Less of a profiler and more of an action-prone field agent, Luke is effectively the BAU's muscle, more prone to get in gear and chase down the suspects through dangerous situations. He has a rather shaky relationship with Penelope since his debut, but the two eventually get on friendlier terms.
