Where did you see INTJ? For gods sake not every stoic female is INTJ. She focuses on the here and now rather than contemplating future possibilities. You can argue that it’s because of the situation she is in but then I would just direct you towards Gale, who has it worse. He still thinks about future possibilities and the meaning of the system. Peeta figures out the real point of the games and how one never truly escapes the games far before katniss does and Ni isn’t even his primary function. Ti Se. Look she has very poor Ni period. Her strongest function is by far Ti; she is good at troubleshooting and figuring out difficult situations. This coupled with her high Se combines to make her formidable in the games for her quick decisions and quick reactions. Katniss is more of a scalpel than a heavy hitter in that she excels at small quick decisions but doesn’t have much when it comes to making actual plans other than “I’m going to survive this one challenge.” She never thinks further than what is immediate.
