His relationship with Mando was pure beskar, not gonna lie I loved this episode. I agree, he's ENTP, his Ne is very visible, also his Ti. Well, yes, he was impulsive when he shot that ****er, but only in that ONE moment, when he was under the stress and this imperial guy triggered him. I think that reaction was his PTSD, not his Se or other function. He was quite calm until that moment. PTSD is not fun (I had it), when you are under the influence of certain environmental factors, you remember your trauma again. People with PTSD don't control themselves during such moments, they can be violent, full of anger, impulsive, aggressive. People with mental disorders shouldn't be typed through prism of their mental problems. In fiction, ISTPs are usually stereotypical soldiers with PTSD, but it's obvious that other types can have PTSD. Also, the negative behaviors that PTSD causes are not an xSTPs personality trait. Typical ISTP is not impetuous and they wouldn't suddenly shoot someone in the face if it was unwise (same with ENTP, but my conclusion is that this reaction was probably a PTSD attack, not ISTP behavior, so it's not a good argument about his hypothetical Se). Regardless of his type, he's a very interesting character. Mayfeld character development was perfect in this episode. I wish he had joined Mando's team permanently...
Biography
Migs Mayfeld, also known as Inmate 34667, was a human male mercenary who was a former sharpshooter in the Imperial Military. During the time of the New Republic, Mayfeld was recruited by the criminal Ranzar Malk to lead a team to rescue the prisoner Qin from Bothan-Five, a New Republic Correctional Transport. Malk, Mayfeld, and the team intended to betray the Mandalorian Din Djarin, who had also been hired for use of his ship, the Razor Crest.
