What personality type is Subaru Natsuki? Subaru Natsuki is an ENFP personality type in MBTI, 7w6 - sx/so - 728 in Enneagram, SLUAI in Big 5, IEE in Socionics.
I think Subaru is an ENFP. He makes a ton of references/connections in his speech patterns, has a genuine excitement for the future, and comes up with unique solutions not derived from concrete and observable sensory data around him to solve problems despite being at a disadvantage (Ne). I find him to be a very apparent Fi user. Subaru is almost uncompromising with his moral beliefs, demonstrating a rebellious demeanor in instances such as in the scene in which the five priestesses gather to determine who will be the kingdom's rightful leader. Overall he acts mainly based on how he feels about things and if actions align with his values. Yes, Fe is widely considered to be a giving function, but ENFP's with their Fi can be very giving people in their own ways. The problem with Subaru is that he was unaware that he was actually hurting Emilia and actually benefiting himself. His Te comes into play with his execution of his ideas. While he does brainstorm plans based on unrelated aspects around him, he does organize others and his ideas in the most efficient method possible. I think Subaru falls into Si grip, which is greatly highlighted in episode 18 when he tells Rem all of his problems. Also, throughout the anime, Subaru is usually able to think ahead in situations, but he becomes worried of repeating the same mistakes again and fails to see the flaws in his past actions until things are too late (Inferior Si). Subaru can be impulsive but that doesn't make him an Se user, especially an ESxP. I don't really see Ti in him either; he doesn't come off as someone that forms internal frameworks of things and people around him nor does he prefer to learn about the intricacy of things.
Biography
The protagonist. On the way home from the convenience store, he suddenly finds himself teleported into another world. He has an ability that he calls "Return by Death" to go back in time when he dies. Despite being a hikikomori and gamer in his real world, Subaru does a bit of workout and seems to know basic hand-to-hand combat, making him not completely weak.
