What personality type is Olivier? Olivier is an ISTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w6 - sp/so - 583 in Enneagram, in Big 5, LSI in Socionics.
Originally because it seens like he lacks any N it seems easy to assign him Se but Dom Si/Inf Ne makes so much more sense. When Roland defends Noé and Vanitas he is VERY aversed to this new possibility and also has difficulty reading social situation subtext. When he meets Vanitas and Noé he doesn't seem to realise they're the vampire and human Roland met once. He also doesn't realise Vanitas is talking about his own feelings for Jeanne until he says "i/my" and then it is clear to him and he chokes on his tea a little. I think Fi and Te is clear enough - He has a strong adherence to his set of morals which are based on his own worldview and experiences - He has no trouble harming vampires, because they are bad, but he holds the chasseurs and paladins closer and doesn't want them to be harmed. Added in edit: Te is visibly supporting his Si. From the wiki: "Olivier likes things to be done quickly and efficiently, with little patience for those who don't follow instruction. He tends to be fairly judgmental of those who don't act in ways that he sees reasonable or intelligent." This preference for straightforward methods is aux Te. Like I said the tried-and-trueness of the methods he prefers, knowing what worked well before and liking to stick to tradition is dom Si. Little side note - His Te gives him his lean towards authority (the church) and facts that they give to make his judgment. He also doesn't really investigate anything critically,l to find out for himself, I don't see Ti. Based on the clear inferiority of his Ne compared to his Si, but also the fact that I don't think his Fe is inferior given his decent enough ability to assess the feelings and needs of other people I'd type him ISTJ. Biography
Olivier is high-strung due to the constant agitation he has from Roland's impropriety as a chasseur. He is quick to anger towards Roland and is constantly frustrated at his inability to temper Roland's wilfulness.
