I felt like adding this as a profile since its mentioned multiple times that the abyss is "alive". Its basically a mouth opening that lures its preys in and analyzes them by looking into the future. The abyss reminds me of a flee trap? I hope that makes sense lol

The Abyss is a colossal pit that was discovered 2000 years ago. Its estimated depth is 20,000m although nobody knows how far it truly reaches. It's home to many ancient monsters and animal species and it bares artifacts of much value.
