What personality type is Wen Qing? Wen Qing is an INFJ personality type in MBTI, 6w5 - sp/so - 612 in Enneagram, in Big 5, in Socionics.
i noticed that wen qing is voted as ISTJ 8w9 in the other sources, but i think that its unfair to vote her as whatever the hell she was in the other sources when it doesnt seem like the case in the cdrama (i havent watched the anime or read the novel, so idk if she really is an ISTJ 8w9 in those too). when i was watching, i thought she was an INFJ and was surprised to see her typed as an ISTJ. i cant really explain why i see dom ni rather than dom si, but i highly doubt shes an IxTJ of any sort. her fe seems too high to be fe blind. i think that IxFJ fi critic fits her more than IxTJ fi tert, as we see her trying to live for herself and wen ning only, yet she continues to help wwx nonetheless even though she knows it will produce negative consequences for her. she stays true to her morals — “only saving people, never harming them” as well as having to repay peoples kindness. however, i think that an fi tert would discard of these morals for the sake of what is more important to them — in wen qings case: wen ning. however, we can see that this isnt the case for her. she tries to order wen ning to stay away from them because shes aware of the negative consequences, but she helps the jiangs nonetheless when jiang cheng lost his golden core. im not saying that she is an fe aux because she is selfless, but her morals are based off of other people: not harming them and repaying their kindness. therefore, her fi critic’s morals are fueled by her fe aux. you can argue that fi tert would also value their morals, but an fi tert would value what is MOST IMPORTANT to them, which is very obvious that wen ning is the most important to wen qing. however, wen qing balances her morals and her love for wen ning and even teaches and enforces these morals onto wen ning, while an fi tert in nature would indefinitely choose wen ning over these valued morals. as for her enneagram, she does not seem to be an 8w9 at all. maybe in the novel or anime she was (i havent gotten into those), but in this source she seems like a clear-cut 6w5. she does not express her anger outwards or have a desire to control or protect people like an 8 would. she didnt even lose her temper when she told wen ning to stay away from wwx, she just sternly but calmly told him to do so. instead, her motivations for joining the wen clan is to ensure the safety of her, wen ning, and her clan as well as going to lengths to make sure that her actions of helping wwx does not become known because she knows that it will produce negative consequences for her. as for her tritype, she does not seem to have an 8 fix either, for the same reasons that i mentioned before. instead, she seems to have a 1 fix since she values her morals as i mentioned before — wanting to save people, not harm them as well as returning peoples’ kindness. she also expresses disdain towards the wen clans unruly methods, which is stereotypically 8 core in nature, because she finds it immoral. for her last fix, i think that 2 is a safe guess since she does not express a desire to be successful or recognized like a 3 or be true to herself like a 4. instead, she wants to help those that are important to her such as wen ning, wwx, and her clan. therefore: INFJ 6w5-1w2-2w1
