What personality type is Hibiki? Hibiki is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sp/sx - 549 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, ILI in Socionics.
okokok definitely not an ISTP. very much not an se user, mental disorder or not, he has never liked processing external stimuli and literally does all he can to block that out as much as possible. that being said, it also doesnt guarantee that he has low se because being over-receptive also becomes a strength of his in the end and ultimately his physical skill has SOME correlation to his ability to gather present data in his environment quickly-- an se skill. HOWEVER his entire character is an ni-dom slap in the face, not because he's so so special for hearing sounds from the magical bubbles and living out his destiny with a bubble girl (okay maybe a little bit because of that), but he trusts his subconscious more than his obvious physical environment and, as seen in direct contrast with uta, everything he does is with a direct line of focus and his entire storyline draws a straight track of vision from beginning to end. his disconnect from other people doesn't come from him being a careless ISTP but from seeing and hearing things that others don't, which is such an ni staple. plus anyone with a ti dom would not put up with uta's little mermaid bs, hibiki only listens to her because he just knows without any clear justification that he can trust her (ni!). and he has way too much fi to be an ISTP. fi tert makes very much sense for him, because he derives his emotions intrinsically and is very guarded about them. i have no evidence for te > ti, but overall this was enough for me to presume him to be an INTJ.
