Fi-the series start him as a cold, brutal executioner(mostly in season 0 and manga, kazuki change it on the anime) but the best thing that the pharaoh learns from yugi is showing kindness, compassion and empathy, his last line from yugi while helping him to stand is"im not the other you anymore, and you are no one but yourself, the only yugi mutou in the world" he's fi is finally developed (fi) and him helping yugi to stand while mutou is crying and letting go of him while saying this line that wipes yugi's tears, symbolizes that with hes help yugi learns to stand and now he could finally let go, bcuz yugi can finally be himself, this anime is pure masterpiece theres a lot of symbolism that i didnt take on the account while writing this. if you are curius please watch the subs, the dub makes this masterpiece a joke.
Biography
Yami Yugi, known as Dark Yugi in the manga and Japanese versions, and also referred to as the Nameless Pharaoh, is the spirit of Pharaoh Atem that has been sealed in the Millennium Puzzle. He is the main protagonist of the original and second series, along with Yugi Muto.
