What personality type is Saiki Kuniharu? Saiki Kuniharu is an ISFP personality type in MBTI, 6w7 - sp/sx - 692 in Enneagram, SLUAN in Big 5, SEI in Socionics.
Here’s my argument for ISFP. Let me know what your thoughts are! Introverted Feeling is his dominant function, and as such, he places great importance on his own feelings and emotions. This can make him seem selfish and over emotional. Examples are when he begs Kusuo to use his powers to get him out of situations because he personally doesn’t see anything wrong with utilizing his son’s abilities, instead of doing the hard work himself, like when he was rearranging his and his wife’s bedroom, or forgot to publish a story for the manga company he works at. Another example of his Fi is him being I afraid to express his personal feelings, like when he embarrassingly gets all lovey-dovey with his wife, becomes moody and has tantrums when he’s angry, or becomes extremely cheerful whenever he’s happy. This also shows that he doesn’t care what others think (inferior Te). Extroverted Sensing (Se) is his auxiliary function. Kuniharu isn’t much of a planner and prefers to deal with things that are right in front of him. This can lead him to be unaware of consequences that could come from his actions, which makes him seem impulsive and oblivious. An example is when he got sucked into a shady salesman’s fake products, and didn’t think about how him mass buying everything would make him lose a lot of money. It’s only after he used his tertiary Ni, that he thought about future consequences, but it was too late and he had a already bought thousands of yen worth of worthless junk. Introverted Intuition is Kuniharu’s tertiary function. Since two other functions are prioritized over it, his Ni isn’t very well developed. But in some instances, he uses it like when he envisions idealistic futures of him as a rich, successful manga artist or a doting husband with his wife in old age. He has his head up in the clouds, which makes him unreliable and oftentimes unrealistic. He can also jump to conclusions that are usually incorrect, like when he “deduced” that Saiki’s friends came over to celebrate HIS birthday, not Saiki’s. Extroverted Thinking (Te) is Kuniharu’s inferior function, which means it isn’t very developed. Kuniharu is inefficient, oftentimes irrational, illogical, and over emotional. Although he does care about what others think, he rarely acts on their opinions of him. His inability to get things done causes him to be stuck at the same lowly position at the manga company he works at for many years, and he often needs Kusuo’s help to do things.
