What personality type is Charlie Dompler? Charlie Dompler is an ISTP personality type in MBTI, 9w8 - sp/sx - 964 in Enneagram, RCUEN in Big 5, SLI in Socionics.
Can someone explain the 4 fix in his enneagram? I don’t think it suits him at all. From what we’ve seen in the show, Charlie possesses a bit of competitive nature and seek for improvement. For example in the third episode of first season when Charlie took the shrimp dude to the gym he said "The best thing you do to get your life in order and be attractive to chicks is to get in shape and be an alpha male like me." That sounds a lot more like a status and image-seeking three than identity and authenticity-seeking four. Another example is in s3 e6 where Charlie took a day off work by faking his sickness to play a new game that had just been released. Charlie's approach to the game, where he tactically destroyed another player and robbed his village shows some level of competitiveness and greed for winning. Overall Charlie is an extremely pragmatic person, which is common trait for threes and I don’t see any characteristic of enneagram 4 in him.
