What personality type is Andrew “Ender” Wiggin? Andrew “Ender” Wiggin is an INTJ personality type in MBTI, 5w4 - sx/sp - 514 in Enneagram, RCOAI in Big 5, EII in Socionics.
I write this thinking of Andrew Wiggin, the old wise man from the rest of the Ender's Saga. He is literally my favorite fictional character. He is able to understand others in a really deep level. That's his superpower since book one, but at first he uses is as a weapon against his enemies. At the end of that first story (and it doesn't get really clear in the film), he learns to use it for the good of others. And he spends the rest of his entire life trying to use it as a redeemed gift. A whole religios is literally build upon the idea of understanding others because of his work as Speaker for the Death. In my ming, he grew to be a beautiful and wholehearted 9w8, because his willing to understand others, and love them because of that. Also, he spends the majority of his time reflectiong and recharching to come up to the world and face others. His intuition is legendary for me. So, I think of him as an INTJ canon.
Biography
The Third Child. Ender is the end result of a government program designed to create the perfect commander to win the war for the human race against the Formics. Ender is shipped to Battle School where his ruthless pragmatism and ability to think outside the box sends Ender up the ranks at an unprecedented rate and eventually brings him into the Bugger War. However the horrors of war, the pressure from everyone to be the best, and the isolation that comes from that takes its toll on his mental state. Eventually it's too much and upon his graduation Ender takes a space ship to parts unknown.
