I’m just here to say that that Gyomei’s honestly one of my favorite characters in this series. He had to witness almost every child at the orphanage die thinking he wasn’t strong enough to save them. And the only one who survived, the girl Sayo “turned” on him. It wasn’t actually her intention, but from Gyomei’s perspective it was betrayal. I feel so bad for him, he deserved so much better. In the end, he chose to die because he thought they should save the medicine for someone younger. People reveal their true nature in their final moments. What a kind hearted man. He was never selfish, I LOVE HIM SO MUCH.
