I think Brittany is a 9w8 over a 7w6, though I see the 7 fix. Her desire for peace and no internal/external conflict didn't seem as important as escaping pain for happiness and freedom. Brittany tries to avoid conflict with others and keep the harmony. She speaks when she knows when to and regularly keeps quiet during times when she knows is right. Brittany is non-judgmental and looks at the best in others. This is proven when everyone believes Santana is a bad person when Brittany tries to show she's not a terrible person at all. Some ways that she avoids conflict, is how she stays back and lets Santana speak up and be the more outspoken ones in times. Though Brittany is conflict-avoidant and often represses her emotions, she can sometimes make mean comments at her worst and withdraw, which 9s behave at unhealthy levels. Her w8 allows her to be very outspoken and to defend others and herself for what is right and accurate, though she refrains from conflict the majority of the time. Along with this, the knowledge and intelligence 9s have are sorta "hidden" and many people don't tend to notice it often. When she revealed to be a math prodigy, everyone was impressed, though originally, many people such as Finn thought she was stupid- which she struggled to tolerate. Artie calls Brittany stupid and she breaks into tears. Idk her instinctual subtype yet, therefore, will not explain it. To clarify, both 9s and 7s are in the positive outlook group, therefore can be similar in some ways, like they look at what's positive and right over the negative. So it may be confusing in that way. May I ask why 9w1 and not 9w8 though? I think I see 9w1 in some ways, she does often trust the rules and social cues of a w1, but she is more defensive and can be confrontational like a 9w8, like when she approaches Finn.
